This project explores the possibilities of creating a vision of a futuristic world, inviting the spectator to an imaginary environment, where there will be “enhanced” human creatures with extraordinary forms. By experimentation, the artists will become these new creatures and will interact with each other through different relationships. This project is multidisciplinary as it plays with music, visuals, and dance.

RORETRA is a journey of mathematical and dance transformations. For this project, the influence comes from the mathematical transformations of Rotation, Reflection, and Translation and how we can create contemporary dance movements inspired by them. How can we make the rigid transformations fluid? The interpretation consists of periodic patterns. The duet gradually uses the same motives of Rotation-Reflection-Translation and fills the whole space.
